Victoria: Park Once and Walk the Capital

Victoria is one of the world's smallest capitals, so the smart move is to park once and explore on foot. Drop the car at the sports-stadium lot or the Maison Collet multi-storey, which gives you a free first hour, then walk to the silver Clock Tower known locally as Lorloz.

The La Misere Viewpoint Drive

The La Misere road is the quieter cross-island route, running from Victoria toward Grand Anse over about 9 to 10 km in 20 to 25 minutes. Its highlight is the La Misere viewpoint, which has a proper surfaced parking bay beside the platform rather than a narrow verge.

Sauzier Waterfall and the North Coast

Sauzier Waterfall in Port Glaud is a short, easy stop, about a 5-minute walk from the paid car park. Tickets are SCR 50 for adults and SCR 25 for children, with the booth open Mon-Fri 09:00-16:00 and weekends 09:30-16:00.

Ignore anyone in the village below the church who claims the official entrance is expensive and offers an unofficial jungle route. That is a known scam. Walk past them to the official ticket booth and pay there.
